Finally...

I was thinking a lot about my last word. I think you have to remember the one: FRIENDSHIP.

In my opinion, you can be anything or anyone, if you don't have a friend. You don't know how much you miss. Without them, you don't know what fun really means, how it is like laughing or just talking pleasantly for hours. I don't have many, but the ones I have I appreciate very much. I believe, few can mean more, because if one person understands you completely, that one can replace everyone else. Keep that one friend, because there's only one from everyone.

Some thoughts about Bryson

We had the task to read some texts from Bill Bryson, one of them was "Drug Culture". I felt some irony in the author's tone. He tried to emphasize how people in Britain and in America think about medicines and advertisements. Americans seems to take it easy, they have it and immediately go back to work, while the British suffer longer. According to Bryson, it seems, the British believe in the effect of medicines, but not immediately, while Americans continue their lives in the minute after taking them. Bryson tried to highlight the effect of advertisements on the audience, which is, for the most part, common: he thinks, people believe everything they hear on TV. While Americans definitely say no to drugs, they spend the most money on them (75billion! dollars a year- awesome). They seem to worry about their health as well, even if they try to hide it so much- it is absolutely clear. They worry too much.  According to Bryson, health can be achieved in a very simple way no one thinks of: with inner harmony. Having some fun, or with a calm evening, anything what is pleasure for one. People don't need a large amount of pills to feel better, it's absolute insanity.

I believe, Bryson is right. When everything is ok, I feel fine. If I am tired, overburdened or have problems, then my head hurts, all my body hurts, and I have to take a pill to decrease the pain. Such advertisements read in the texts do not have an effect on me, because I do not think every medicine is the same good for each person. But when we take the pill, the problem seems to disappear immediately, but it is a false thought. We just persuade ourselves, that it is already right. That's why I think these things are really unnecessary. In my opinion, most of our symptoms can be cured with some rest day by day: with relaxing on the couche, some calm music with a candle in the bedroom, or some time spend with watching a great comedy. I think laugter is the best medicine for everything. If you take eveything too seriously, that will result in stress and diseases. It all can be avoided, just learn how to relax.
